About the Role
The role focuses on power distribution projects, handling design, field surveying, and QA/QC while working alongside engineers, designers, and technical specialists to support project delivery. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality infrastructure solutions. • Review engineering design packages, including drawings, bill of materials, and procedures. • Perform basic to intermediate engineering designs. • Survey and document existing utility field conditions using GPS and conventional methods. • Implement design modifications to improve project quality and processes. • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

What You Bring
Although the position is primarily office‑based with standard computer and office equipment, it requires frequent field work in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lb, standing, climbing, and traveling locally up to 100% of the time. • Maintain strong organization, time‑management, and teamwork skills. • Minimum qualification: associate degree or equivalent experience; proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD (≥1 year) and Microsoft Office. • Ability to work outdoors in all weather, around energized equipment, in confined spaces, and heavy traffic with proper PPE. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record for the past five years. • Preferred: knowledge of power distribution, Civil 3D, NEC/NESC standards, and Katapult or Ike equipment. • Preferred: experience inspecting and documenting distribution equipment and strong communication abilities. • Ability to travel locally up to 100% and handle physical demands such as lifting 50 lb, climbing ladders, and working on uneven ground.
