About the Role
Technicians are expected to maintain high quality standards, participate in an on‑call rotation, and support property improvements and preventive‑maintenance schedules as needed. • Prepare apartments for occupancy, including painting, drywall repair, trash removal, and mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work. • Respond to resident service requests promptly each day. • Repair electrical, plumbing, boiler, water‑heater, HVAC, and appliance systems. • Perform carpentry, drywall, and interior/exterior painting tasks. • Determine appropriate paint type, sheen, and color for full‑coat or touch‑up jobs. • Clean pools, monitor chemical balance, and maintain required logs. • Conduct daily grounds maintenance: trash pickup, pet waste removal, waste station upkeep, and walkway sweeping. • Participate in scheduled property improvements and preventive‑maintenance tasks. • Join the on‑call rotation as scheduled. • Ensure apartments, common areas, and amenities meet Weidner quality standards daily. • Lift up to 80 lb, use a dolly for loads up to 200 lb, and climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs. • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for the entire shift. • Adhere to Weidner’s mission, values, policies, and all Fair Housing and legal requirements. • Maintain reliable attendance, adhere to dress code/uniform, and present a professional appearance.

What You Bring
The technician provides comprehensive maintenance services to residents and the community, ensuring apartments and common areas are ready for occupancy while preserving asset value. Success in this role requires effective time management, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and strong customer‑service skills when interacting with residents, associates, and vendors. • Possess 1–2 years of maintenance experience and strong mechanical aptitude. • Apply knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool, irrigation, and HVAC systems. • Hold or pursue HVAC, CPO, EPA, or CAMT certifications (desired). • Communicate clearly in person, by phone, email, and text. • Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Yardi and Paycom experience preferred. • Possess reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current vehicle insurance.

Benefits
This is an experienced‑level, full‑time Community Service Technician position located in Woodin Creek Village, Woodinville, WA. The role offers a base salary of $25‑$27 per hour plus commission, works Tuesday through Saturday with negligible travel, and falls under the Maintenance category.
