About the Role

The role collaborates with global teams to understand design intent and validates models that support the design of various systems, sub‑systems, and components. Effective internal and external communication is essential for success, and the incumbent must manage project expectations, plans, and requirements while coordinating work across functional disciplines. Technical responsibilities include developing simulation models for mechanical systems, sub‑systems, and components using tools such as GT Suite, AMESim, Matlab Simscape, and Simulink. The engineer analyzes and optimizes designs through 1D plant models and control development, creates interfaces for MiL/HiL/SiL environments, and applies Matlab scripting to simulate ICE and xEV vehicle systems for key performance metrics. The position requires independent execution of complex engineering projects, delivering on‑time and high‑quality results. The engineer provides technical information and recommendations to improve product designs and processes, contributes novel solutions through innovation disclosures, patents, and technical papers, and regularly updates internal and external stakeholders with clear communication. • Develop simulation models for mechanical systems, sub‑systems, and components using GT Suite, AMESim, Matlab Simscape, and Simulink. • Analyze and optimize designs with 1D plant models and control development; create interfaces for MiL/HiL/SiL environments. • Provide technical information and engineering recommendations to improve product designs and associated processes. • Execute complex engineering projects independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams; manage internal and external communications. • Deliver deep insights through system modeling to meet performance requirements and drive innovation (patents, technical papers).

What You Bring

Candidates should hold an MS, ME, or M.Tech degree and possess 0‑2 years of relevant experience. A strong foundation in plant and control model development, system dynamics, and engineering fundamentals for mobility or aerospace applications is expected. • Proficient in Matlab scripting; simulate ICE and xEV vehicle systems to predict fuel economy, range, state of charge, and other CTQs. • Demonstrate strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; regularly update stakeholders. • Minimum education: MS/ME/M.Tech; 0–2 years of experience. • Strong fundamentals in plant and control model development and system dynamics for mobility/aerospace applications.
