About the Role
The Installation Manager oversees all commercial HVAC installation activities, handling scheduling, resource allocation, material procurement, and quality assurance. They monitor project progress, identify issues, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer service. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating a skilled HVAC team, as well as ensuring compliance with BGIS and client safety, health, and environmental procedures. In the client service domain, the manager represents BGIS professionally, builds strong relationships with internal teams, external clients, and vendors, and ensures high customer satisfaction through quality work and timely issue resolution. They conduct quality control checks, manage budgets, timelines, and reporting, and stay current with industry codes and regulations to maintain operational efficiency. • Lead and manage commercial HVAC installation projects across multiple states. • Schedule, allocate resources, procure materials, and ensure quality workmanship. • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective solutions. • Provide technical expertise and guidance to field technicians and project teams. • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate a skilled HVAC workforce. • Enforce safety, health, and environmental compliance throughout installations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and vendors. • Conduct quality control inspections and resolve client concerns promptly. • Manage project budgets, timelines, and prepare reports and presentations. • Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and emerging HVAC technologies.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience, with at least seven years in a similar role and expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems. Required skills include strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking, excellent communication, collaborative teamwork, leadership, problem‑solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Journeyperson status or trade licensing is preferred. The role demands cognitive abilities to thrive in a fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive environment, willingness to travel, a valid driver’s license, and personal transportation.
