About the Role

In this role you will initiate, design, develop and optimize manufacturing assets and supporting processes while ensuring safety codes, policies and guidelines are met. You will lead single or multiple capital or major maintenance projects worth up to $10 million, provide functional guidance on equipment design, resolve complex technical issues, and mentor diverse team members. Effective communication across all organizational levels and continuous improvement of process capability are essential. • Initiate, design, develop and optimize manufacturing assets and processes. • Lead capital or major maintenance projects up to $10 million from concept through commercialization. • Provide functional guidance on equipment and process design to meet site objectives. • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, eliminating root causes. • Mentor and develop team members from diverse backgrounds. • Ensure safety compliance for operators, maintenance personnel, and all staff. • Improve process capability to reduce defects and variability.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related scientific discipline) and brings at least ten years of technical or operational experience. Required expertise includes power distribution, manufacturing control systems such as PLCs, variable‑speed drives, HMIs, distributed control systems, machine safety and instrumentation, with Lean Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement exposure preferred. Experience collaborating with external technical service providers is also valued. • Require a bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of technical/operational experience. • Experience with power distribution, PLCs, variable‑speed drives, HMIs, distributed control systems, machine safety and instrumentation. • Lean Six Sigma or continuous‑improvement experience preferred. • Demonstrated ability to work with external technical service providers.
