About the Role
In this position the Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary design teams, define project scope, establish schedules, set milestones, and determine resource requirements. They will coordinate daily activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to keep tasks on schedule and aligned with objectives, monitor progress through key performance indicators, identify and report risks, support budget tracking and cost control, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. • Lead design teams to develop project packages, define scope, schedules, milestones, and resource needs. • Coordinate daily activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to meet project objectives. • Monitor progress using key performance indicators, identify risks or delays, and report findings to senior members. • Support budget management by tracking expenses, reviewing cost estimates, and ensuring alignment with approved budgets. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, risk assessments, change orders, and closeout reports. • Exercise ethical decision‑making regarding company funds and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct.

What You Bring
WSP is initiating a search for an experienced Project Manager for its Honolulu, HI office. The role requires demonstrated engineering and design project leadership and execution for U.S. government and military clients, including the Department of Defense, US Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency, and Navy Facilities Command. The ideal candidate has more than ten years of post‑education experience in project‑management support within architecture, engineering, or construction, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and PE or PMP certification. They have three to five years managing Federal design projects for agencies such as MDA, USACE, or NAVFAC, are U.S. citizens, and possess strong organizational, time‑management, and safety compliance skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with design/engineering software are strongly desired, and the role requires on‑site work in a WSP office. • Possess 10+ years of post‑education project management experience in architecture, engineering, or construction. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) and maintain PE or PMP certification. • Have 3–5 years managing Federal design projects for agencies such as MDA, USACE, or NAVFAC. • Require U.S. citizenship and ability to work on‑site in a WSP office. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with design/engineering software is strongly desirable. • Exhibit strong organizational, time‑management, and safety compliance skills.
