About the Role

• Install conduit, cabling, and low‑voltage security devices. • Collaborate with Lead Installers and team members to meet safety standards and client specifications. • Deliver high‑quality construction services that exceed client expectations. • Follow construction practices and safety protocols diligently. • Use tools and equipment effectively while maintaining safety. • Interpret Climatec and other drawings to install low‑voltage security systems. • Support installation personnel on project sites. • Assist in troubleshooting during static or dynamic start‑up and commissioning of low‑voltage security and special systems. • Prepare As‑built drawings and Operation & Maintenance manuals. • Provide up‑to‑date As‑built information, including sensor, panel, database, and code locations. • Lift and carry ladders, drawings, computers, and materials; lift up to 50 lb. • Stand and walk for extended periods on construction sites. • Climb multiple flights of stairs or ladders throughout the day. • Maintain a satisfactory driving record to operate a company vehicle. • Kneel, stoop, and crawl as required.

What You Bring

The position is structured into three levels. Level I employees achieve many objectives with timely supervision, while Level II staff consistently meet all objectives and mentor Level I personnel. Senior‑level individuals bring advanced skills in mechanical and electrical building systems, understand low‑voltage security integration, and assist with troubleshooting installations and operations. • Level II – consistently achieve all objectives and mentor Level I staff. • Senior – highly experienced, manages others, understands mechanical/electrical building systems and low‑voltage security integration, assists in troubleshooting. • Pay attention to detail and adhere to project timelines. • Minimum high school diploma. • 0–1+ years experience with low‑voltage security or low‑voltage audio/intercom installations. • Basic computer operation proficiency. • Knowledge of construction industry safety and electrical codes. • Clear verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to empathically understand issues and work creatively toward successful outcomes. • Pass a background check. • Valid driver’s license. • 2+ years experience with low‑voltage security or low‑voltage audio/intercom installations. • Experience with CCTV and access control systems. • Proficiency with electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and audio meters. • Ability to troubleshoot basic circuitry and read electrical, control, and special system diagrams. • Understanding of low‑voltage DC circuitry, including transformers, fuses, and breakers. • Work in outdoor settings, mechanical rooms, and extreme weather; exposure to live voltage, moving parts, heavy machinery, wet/humid environments, elevated locations, airborne particles, fumes, electrical hazards, vibrations, occasional chemicals, extreme temperatures, and loud noise. • Possess accurate color vision and clear visual acuity.
