About the Role

The position involves coordinating environmental permitting, conducting ESIA studies, preparing management plans, and providing sustainability advice while working closely with regulators such as Dubai Municipality, DECCA, Trakhees and EAD. The consultant will also perform site inspections, monitoring, audits and contribute to waste‑management and sustainability certification documentation. • Lead and oversee high‑profile environmental projects from inception to completion. • Deliver environmental permitting, ESIA studies, and technical assessments for civil infrastructure. • Identify impacts and develop mitigation and monitoring measures across design, construction and operation. • Prepare Environmental Management Plans, monitoring programs, compliance documents and permit applications. • Provide environmental and sustainability advice to design teams. • Liaise with Dubai Municipality/DECCA, Trakhees, EAD and other regulators for permits and approvals. • Conduct site visits, inspections, monitoring and audits to ensure compliance. • Produce clear technical reports and regulatory submissions. • Support data collection, baseline studies and stakeholder coordination. • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery. • Develop waste‑management strategies and assessments. • Coordinate documentation for sustainability certifications such as Estidama, LEED, Envision, etc. • Continuously develop technical and regulatory knowledge toward professional registration.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, have at least three years of consultancy experience, and possess strong knowledge of UAE sustainability rating systems including Estidama, Al Sa’fat, LEED, WELL and Barjeel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with sustainability submission tools are also required. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, environmental science, sustainability or related field (post‑graduate preferred). • Minimum 3 years consultancy experience in environmental or sustainability projects. • Proven track record delivering sustainability strategies and certifications in the UAE. • Strong knowledge of Estidama, Al Sa’fat, LEED, WELL and Barjeel rating systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with sustainability tools and submission platforms a plus.
