About the Role
The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the full operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager’s supervision, managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk‑management functions, and ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety, and fair‑housing guidelines. • Oversee all on‑site operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management. • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate property staff; schedule daily/weekly assignments and address performance issues. • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and cost‑control strategies to maximize net operating income. • Ensure timely rent collection, deposit reconciliation, and accurate vendor invoice processing. • Create and execute yearly marketing and leasing plans; lead resident showings, lease sign‑offs, and retention programs. • Address resident complaints and implement satisfaction initiatives such as events and newsletters. • Supervise emergency response procedures and maintain property safety, compliance, and appearance. • Oversee maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities, ensuring quality and timely completion. • Maintain accurate administrative and leasing reports; ensure compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.

What You Bring
Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (a bachelor’s degree preferred) or a combination of education and experience, with 1‑2 years of related housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification is preferred, along with basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. Physical demands of the role involve regular communication, standing or sitting for extended periods, moving between work sites, occasional ladder use, lifting up to 25 lb, operating machinery or vehicles, and working in various environmental conditions, including emergencies and outdoor weather. • Possess high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred); CAM or ARM certification desirable; 1‑2 years relevant experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software and basic computer skills. • Reliable transportation required for on‑call emergency duties.
