Manage end-to-end tendering and quotation processes for substation projects.

About the Role
The role serves as the tendering authority for medium to high complexity projects, creating and finalising bids, estimations and quotations based on end‑customer specifications or budgets while collaborating closely with the Operating Unit’s Tendering team and other stakeholders. You will manage the complete tender lifecycle, supporting sales strategy, market intelligence and bid/no‑bid decisions, developing solution strategies and target pricing, reviewing technical drawings and equipment data, evaluating vendor offers, analysing risks, reviewing cash‑flow and legal inputs, and ensuring all documentation meets client and regulatory requirements before handing over awarded projects to project managers. • Lead tender preparation for medium‑to‑high complexity projects. • Develop bids, estimations and quotations aligned with customer specifications and budgets. • Coordinate with OU Tendering team, engineering leads, project managers, SCM, legal, HSE, and other stakeholders. • Drive the end‑to‑end tender process following LOM Tendering procedures. • Support sales strategy, market intelligence and bid/no‑bid decisions. • Create and review tender solution strategies and target pricing. • Validate single‑line diagrams, equipment layouts and technical data sheets for primary equipment. • Evaluate vendor offers and finalize sourcing plans in collaboration with SCM. • Conduct technical, commercial and contractual risk analysis and implement mitigation plans. • Review cash‑flow documents and legal inputs to finalize submissions. • Prepare complete tender documentation to meet client requirements. • Transfer awarded contracts to project managers and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in bid preparation, substation tendering and Hitachi Energy product knowledge are required. The candidate should work independently, demonstrate high ownership, be a team player across countries, and possess strong written and spoken English skills.
