About the Role
In this role you will support all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, assisting linemen with duties such as installing aerial and buried copper and fiber cables, connecting wires, and performing aerial tasks like pole transfers and cable hanging. • Assist lineman with duties and project tasks • Place aerial and buried telecom cable (copper and fiber) • Connect wires to terminals and attach/detach hardware • Perform aerial tasks: new installs, pole transfers, strand building, cable hanging, lashing • Conduct construction work: dig holes, install cable, air pipe, inner duct in conduit or excavations • Climb utility poles or operate aerial lift trucks to place cables per design • Prioritize safety in daily work

What You Bring
The position requires a strong safety focus, high‑quality workmanship, problem‑solving ability, and a willingness to work long‑term with a team. Experience with aerial equipment, bucket trucks, pole climbing, a valid Class A CDL, and basic telecom cable placement are essential. • Apply strong problem‑solving and hands‑on approach • Experienced lineman with full aerial‑work equipment knowledge • Comfortable using bucket trucks and climbing poles • Hold or obtain a valid Class A CDL with clean driving record • Basic experience installing copper and fiber telecom cable
