About the Role

The position provides legal counsel to Xcel Energy and manages the company's legal services, including oversight of outside counsel. The role is responsible for guiding management on legal, business, legislative, regulatory, and strategic matters. • Provide leadership and legal counsel on business, legislation, regulation, and strategy. • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other transaction documents. • Represent Xcel Energy in courts, regulatory agencies, and other adversarial proceedings. • Manage a team of attorneys and serve as primary point of contact for business areas.

What You Bring
