Assist mechanics with inspection, repair, testing, and maintenance of nuclear plant equipment.

About the Role
The role provides support to qualified mechanics in the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal of nuclear power plant equipment, contributing to the plant’s maintenance operations. • Inspect and maintain turbines, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, fans, blowers, dampers, and air compressors. • Finish 200 and 250 series maintenance classroom and hands‑on training, then perform related tasks under supervision until experience requirements are met. • Perform assigned emergency response duties. • Meet Company and NRC psychological, drug, alcohol, and medical testing policies and regulations. • Complete General Employee and Radiation Worker training, including respirator qualification and maintain unescorted access.

What You Bring
• Complete 100 series fundamental training and achieve qualifications to perform basic maintenance tasks using measuring, test, power, and shop equipment. • Hold a high school diploma or GED with relevant technical training or work experience. • Pass the EEI Maintenance System Selection (MASS) test to demonstrate mechanical aptitude. • Be physically capable of performing essential job functions; certifications may be required by NRC or industry standards.
