About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager at Alowyn Homes, Centennial, is tasked with maintaining the community to a market‑ready standard while delivering a high level of service at all times. This role also involves building and motivating high‑performing teams to maximize property performance. In a fast‑paced environment, the Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager with overall operations, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The role ensures superior customer service and communication with residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability, while also completing lease and renewal paperwork to company standards and tracking advertising and client traffic. The Assistant Property Manager upholds the Cushman & Wakefield mission by supervising the on‑site team, ensuring adherence to company policies, and handling staff interviewing, hiring, and coaching as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining resident files, resolving conflicts promptly, managing the community budget and finances, and collaborating with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing goals. • Ensure smooth daily operations of the multifamily community. • Assist the Property Manager with maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, reporting, collections, evictions, and marketing. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to drive satisfaction and renewals. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in compliance with company standards. • Track advertising performance and manage prospect traffic. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, coaching, and performance management. • Maintain resident files and resolve conflicts promptly. • Manage community budget, expenses, and financial reporting. • Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals. • Set leasing targets, coach team members, and improve performance.

What You Bring
Key competencies include effective communication, strong customer service, proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation, and solid office, bookkeeping, and sales skills. The role requires the ability to set leasing targets, coach team members, supervise daily operations, and manage a team to meet C&W policies and performance standards. Preferred education is a Bachelor’s degree, with a high school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational school required. Candidates should have at least three years of property management experience and one year of management experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, computer, bookkeeping, and sales skills. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or high school diploma and 3+ years property management experience, including 1+ year supervisory experience.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $19.55 to $23.00 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
