About the Role
Apprentices work year‑round on diverse HVAC and refrigeration projects across multiple industries, gaining hands‑on experience with installation, piping, and equipment while advancing their career with top‑tier clients. • Install HVAC equipment (air handler drains, split system piping, overhead duct hangers, ductwork) • Install refrigeration equipment (display case drains, walk‑in box drains, overhead hangers, piping) • Perform all work safely using power/hand tools, machinery, PPE, and powered vehicles • Escalate safety or quality concerns to senior technicians or project managers promptly • Keep job sites clean and professional; manage spare and waste materials • Assist senior technicians and support team members • Install all types of piping including PVC, copper (brazing), and copper line sets

What You Bring
The HVAC/Refrigeration Apprentice supports senior technicians by installing equipment, handling piping (PVC, copper, line sets), using power and hand tools safely, maintaining clean job sites, escalating issues, and assisting wherever needed. Candidates need a high school diploma or trade school completion, with preferred 5+ years in construction, HVAC or refrigeration. They must be able to operate scissor lifts or forklifts, follow safety practices, use basic tools, perform measurements, communicate clearly, work reliably in varied conditions, and have a good driving record. • High school diploma, GED, or trade/technical school completion • 5+ years experience in construction, HVAC, refrigeration, or related trade (preferred) • Ability to operate a scissor lift or forklift (preferred) • Knowledge of jobsite safety and safe work practices • Proficiency with basic power and hand tools, drills, gas tools, meters, and measurement devices • Punctual, dependable, and able to work in varied conditions (ladders, outdoor temperatures, noisy environments) • Competent in basic math calculations and measurements • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Team‑oriented with ability to follow senior technician instructions • Clean driving record and adherence to company policies, state and federal laws
