About the Role
The Shift Engineer – Technical Work Dynamics role focuses on creating a safer and more comfortable work environment. You will plan and execute preparations needed for effective total preventive and predictive maintenance of electro‑mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with EHS/HSSE guidelines. Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing standard operating procedures, overseeing utility systems, conducting regular inspections, coordinating preventive maintenance programs, providing on‑site training, and maintaining accurate logs and reports. • Set up SOPs for critical environment management and ensure site compliance. • Recognize system shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations. • Ensure planned preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule. • Implement and manage risk and safety work practices, adhering to EHS/HSSE guidelines. • Conduct regular facility inspections for energy conservation, maintenance, utility and risk management. • Execute preventive maintenance program to minimize sudden equipment failures. • Provide on‑site team training on equipment procedures and implementation. • Support service delivery teams with equipment maintenance and upkeep. • Perform inspections to verify procedures are followed and update as needed. • Communicate incidents and operational issues to staff and managers, seeking management support when required. • Follow JLL reporting procedures and standards. • Verify building compliance and maintain related records. • Maintain log books, PPM reports and checklists on site. • Monitor adhoc jobs and minor project work. • Contribute to best‑practice development, training materials, operations manuals and standardized tools. • Generate daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports. • Prepare MMR, track PO/PR and monitor SLA performance.

What You Bring
The position requires mobility across sites, with daily check‑ins to uphold high standards and quickly diagnose issues. You will regularly engage with vendors, review their services and collaborate on resolving service problems. We are looking for candidates with a BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or Electro‑Mechanical (or a diploma with at least four years’ experience) and a minimum of three years’ experience in building facilities management, preferably in the IT/ITes sector. Strong teamwork, the ability to set up and lead teams, and a proactive attitude toward positive change are essential. • Understand engineering design and operation of utility systems and equipment.
