About the Role
The position provides professional safety and technical training consulting across the company, using systematic approaches to develop and maintain training materials. It includes designing evaluation instruments, analyzing trainee and stakeholder feedback, and may require extended periods at customer sites while managing training programs and coordinating apprenticeship initiatives. Key responsibilities include delivering effective training while adhering to records management, designing skill‑enhancement strategies, overseeing apprenticeship and instructional staff, and supporting continuous improvement of field personnel. The role also involves applying business processes and project management, consulting with customers to identify needs, creating testing instruments, performing statistical analysis of program impact, and coordinating special projects. • Deliver safety and technical training using systematic approaches and maintain accurate records. • Design and develop training materials, evaluation tools, and conduct statistical analysis of program effectiveness. • Manage and coordinate apprenticeship programs and continuing technical training across regions. • Consult with customers to identify business needs and provide tailored training solutions. • Oversee instructional staff and drive continuous improvement of field personnel performance. • Adhere to training process procedures and lead special improvement projects.

What You Bring
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or a related technical field—or equivalent experience—and at least five years of training or technical work experience. Strong communication and presentation skills, knowledge of adult learning principles, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. Preferred candidates have journeyman lineman experience, which adds valuable practical insight to the training role. • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, education, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). • Possess at least five years of training or related technical experience with strong presentation skills. • Demonstrate expertise in adult learning principles and proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Preferred: journeyman lineman background.
