About the Role
The analyst joins Eaton’s Strategy & Corporate Development team at the corporate office, supporting senior management with market research, competitive analysis, and strategic business cases for growth initiatives and mergers and acquisitions. The role includes leading projects, mentoring junior staff, coordinating with global teams such as the India and Cleveland groups, and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables. • Conduct market research and financial analysis on Eaton’s end‑markets, competitors, suppliers, and products. • Monitor and analyze quarterly/annual earnings and events of peer companies, reporting findings to senior leadership. • Develop compelling presentations for senior management and external audiences such as analysts and trade shows. • Build business/industry cases by identifying growth drivers, assessing strategic fit, and recommending potential targets. • Identify corporate and group acquisition targets and prepare related presentation materials. • Create complete business cases with strategic and financial analysis for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments. • Lead projects, ensure highest quality output, and mentor junior team members. • Foster collaboration between India and Cleveland teams to generate global exposure and project ideas. • Manage workflow, assess reportees’ growth, and provide training as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a master’s degree (MBA or CA) from a premier university, have at least six years of experience—including four years in a corporate setting—and demonstrate strong analytical, financial, and communication skills along with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and research capabilities. • Master’s degree (MBA preferred) or CA from a premier university. • Minimum six years of relevant experience, including at least four years in a corporate setting. • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking abilities. • Excellent written and verbal English communication; adept at report writing and concise presentations. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and solid skills in Word and internet research. • Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing markets (electrical, hydraulic, automotive, truck, aerospace). • Experience with financial statement analysis, strategic frameworks, and managing multiple projects.
