About the Role
Duties & Responsibilities: The role involves leading engineering efforts, mentoring staff, planning and monitoring projects, producing technical documentation, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining effective communication and accurate records. • Coach and mentor other engineering professionals. • Review work of subordinate engineering professionals. • Provide engineering/technical expertise and guidance in problem identification, analysis, and resolution. • Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities effectively. • Produce thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches. • Maintain accurate records and files. • Research engineering and design issues, evaluate alternatives, make sound recommendations, and present them. • Manage multiple tasks and provide leadership to team members.

Advanced skills and independent work capability are expected. Requirements: Candidates must possess extensive engineering experience, professional licensure, and strong technical, analytical, and communication abilities to succeed in this position. • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • 8 to 12 years of experience as a practicing engineer or equivalent. • Hold state registration as a Professional Engineer. • Demonstrate mastery of engineering theories and principles. • Ability to interact with individuals from diverse socio‑economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. • Possess strong written and oral communication skills. • Have experience in the utility industry. • Self‑motivated. • Skilled in principles of project management.
