About the Role

In this role you will lead client‑facing project delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction, while driving business development initiatives and nurturing long‑term client partnerships. You will manage internal design teams, oversee project management of engineering assessments on complex, multi‑client projects, and represent Stantec in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance market presence. Technical responsibilities include delivering innovative electrical designs, reports, and specifications across sectors such as health, defence, high‑rise, industrial, and education, and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. • Lead client‑facing project delivery and ensure stakeholder satisfaction • Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new project opportunities • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments on complex projects • Represent Stantec at industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings • Produce innovative electrical designs, reports, and specifications for diverse sectors • Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has proven experience in a design consultancy environment, strong client engagement and project leadership track record, CPEng status or equivalent, and Victoria fire safety certifier accreditation. You should be able to manage multiple projects at varying delivery stages, possess high‑level expertise in fire safety design, analysis, and risk assessment, and demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and collaborative skills in a fast‑paced team environment. • Hold CPEng status and Victoria fire safety certifier accreditation • Demonstrate expertise in fire safety design, analysis, and risk assessment • Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and collaborative teamwork skills
