About the Role
In this role you will guide the creation, refinement, and operation of equipment and processes, always adhering to safety and performance expectations. You will ensure compliance with safety codes, safeguard operators and maintenance crews, and help maintain daily manufacturing asset performance to meet safety, quality, OEE, and cost targets. Additionally, you will advise on the design of production equipment to satisfy sanitary standards and spearhead improvement projects with budgets up to $5 million, applying engineering analysis and project‑management techniques to resolve challenges. • Guide the creation, refinement, and operation of equipment and processes while meeting safety and performance standards. • Ensure equipment and processes comply with safety codes, policies, and guidelines. • Safeguard the safety and well‑being of operators, maintenance staff, and other personnel. • Support daily manufacturing asset performance to achieve safety, quality, OEE, and cost objectives. • Provide functional guidance for production equipment design and sanitation standards. • Lead improvement projects with budgets up to $5 million from concept through commercialization. • Identify, define, and solve problems to meet unit objectives.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and have at least three years of relevant experience. Flexibility to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and travel up to 15 % for meetings, installations, or best‑practice sharing is required. Preferred qualifications include prior manufacturing experience, a commitment to continuous self‑development, strong cross‑functional collaboration, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Apply engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project‑management skills in leadership roles. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. • Possess at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience. • Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. • Willingness to travel up to 15 % for meetings, installations, or benchmarking. • Preferred: prior manufacturing experience. • Preferred: strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills.
