About the Role
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will represent the firm with clients, contractors, and architects, lead design of large projects, and provide technical leadership. Responsibilities include consulting services, sustainable mechanical solutions, drawing production, coordination, establishing standards, proposal preparation, business development, budgeting, QA/QC participation, and staff resource management. • Represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members • Design large mechanical systems and prepare reports and specifications • Provide high‑level technical leadership across project phases • Prepare due‑diligence, gap analysis, and feasibility reports • Develop sustainable mechanical concepts and detailed drawings • Oversee production of drawings to meet client standards • Coordinate mechanical design with owners, contractors, and design team • Establish project design standards, specifications, and criteria • Prepare proposals and manage contracts, including service agreements • Conduct business development activities and deliver presentations • Establish project budgets and schedules • Participate in QA/QC reviews of staff work • Manage staff resources and conduct performance reviews

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a current PE in Mechanical Engineering, have a bachelor’s degree, and at least 8 years consulting experience, including 3 years in supervisory/project management roles. Preferred qualifications include LEED AP, experience with mission‑critical and life‑science facilities, strong coordination skills, AutoCAD/Revit proficiency, and LEED AP accreditation. • Hold a current Mechanical PE license • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university • Minimum 8 years consulting experience, with at least 3 years supervisory/project management • LEED AP accreditation preferred • Experience with mission‑critical, life‑science, and R+D facilities • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit • Strong ability to coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines
