About the Role

Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties and work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. The role requires taking direction from a higher‑skilled worker or foreman and adhering to safety practices. • Apply effective math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time. • Seek supervisor guidance when unsure about work or safety practices. • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. • Safely operate work‑related tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information. • Stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally. • Move in confined, cluttered, uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects with hands. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

What You Bring

• Hold NCCER Core Curriculum certification and/or high school diploma (preferred). • Possess 1‑3+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction (level I‑III preferred). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., steel‑toed shoes, hard hat). • Reach above shoulder and below waist frequently. • Use telephone, computer, and email limitedly for communication.
