About the Role
• Serve as daily liaison with multiple government stakeholders. • Resolve conflicts positively to achieve consensus. • Provide expert diagnostic testing and analytical support for technical issues. • Maintain performance and maintenance records, work orders, and inventory database. • Perform preventive maintenance and quality assurance activities on electronic systems. • Prepare and deliver reports, test results, and assessments of key electronic systems. • Identify and replace defective components at regional sites. • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including controls, power supplies, gauges, and sensors. • Use power tools, measuring devices, multimeters, and construction equipment. • Pull, terminate, and install low‑voltage signal, network, and fiber‑optic cables. • Travel and relocate as required; work in both office and field sites. • Operate in extreme temperatures, dust, and use personal protective equipment. • Lift 50‑80 lb objects and work at heights up to 40 ft on ladders, scaffolding, or high‑lift equipment.

Parsons is seeking an Electronic Systems Technician to perform complex tasks supporting professional staff in both office and field environments. The role involves daily liaison with multiple government stakeholders, troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment, and maintaining performance and maintenance records. Travel and potential relocation are expected, and work assignments may span internal and external sites. Candidates must hold a two‑year technical degree, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent experience, and possess U.S. citizenship, a valid passport, and an active DoD Secret clearance. A minimum of five years’ experience in electronics technology—including CCTV, IDS, ACS, and basic networking—is required, along with current Lenel certification. Additional IDS, ACS, and CCTV certifications, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and Project, are preferred. The position demands physical stamina, including routine lifting of 50‑80 lb objects, climbing ladders or scaffolding up to 40 ft, and working in extreme hot or cold weather with dust exposure, often requiring personal protective equipment. Employees must be able to work in confined spaces, crawl spaces, and elevated locations while maintaining manual dexterity for tool operation. • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally across the chain of command. • Read and interpret installation plans, schematics, and manufacturers’ literature. • Hold a two‑year technical degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience. • Maintain U.S. citizenship, a valid passport, and an active DoD Secret clearance. • Possess at least five years of experience in electronics technology, CCTV, IDS, ACS, and basic networking. • Hold current Lenel certification; additional IDS, ACS, and CCTV certifications are preferred. • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and Project (desired).
