Distribution Center Associate II

About the Role
The role involves specialized distribution‑center tasks such as receiving, inventory, customer service, and order processing. You will handle shipment data, prepare merchandise for storage, and ensure accurate stock handling under general supervision. • Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system. • Match packing list information to actual packed merchandise. • Prepare packages or merchandise for storage. • Pack, unpack, and mark stock items efficiently using tags, stamps, electronic tools, or labeling equipment. • Identify inconsistencies and immediately report to the Lead Hand or Supervisor. • Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas. • Operate machinery such as counterbalance forklift, walkie rider, reach truck, or Moffatt truck. • Verify bin integrity and perform physical stock counts. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring products are correctly placed. • Follow company safety policies and encourage others to do the same.

What You Bring
You will work in a comfortable environment but may be exposed to dust, fumes, or odors and will perform intermittent physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 + pounds. The position requires occasional overnight travel (less than 5 % of the time) and follows well‑defined safety policies. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with 2‑5 years of relevant experience. Specialized training or certification may be required, and at least one year of related experience is considered a plus.
