About the Role
Assist skilled craft workers by performing assigned duties and providing support across various trades as appropriate to training and skill level. Follow direction from higher‑skilled workers or foremen to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. The position is classified as safety‑sensitive, meaning the duties may affect the safety and health of the employee or others, including operation of vehicles, equipment, power tools, and handling of hazardous or combustible materials. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, material storage, and time. • Seek supervisor guidance when uncertain about work or safety practices. • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. • Safely and effectively operate work‑related tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities in tasks, methods, and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with all crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively at all times. • Provide feedback to ensure necessary materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Navigate confined, cluttered, and uneven work areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate effective math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). • Hold NCCER Core Curriculum certification and/or a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess 1‑3+ years of experience in industrial/commercial construction (levels I‑III). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest). • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist level. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts performing hard physical labor in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
