About the Role
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes, ensuring timely collection and delivery of waste containers. Drivers must operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations, keep the truck clean and safe, and complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report. They report unsafe conditions, incidents, and customer issues to the Operations Manager or Dispatch, and cooperate with scheduled training and meetings. Drivers also work with managers to improve route efficiency, assist fellow drivers, and ensure containers are dumped, positioned, and documented properly at each customer site. • Operate the truck in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle. • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and document findings on the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report. • Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in all required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem or unsafe accounts. • Assist fellow drivers as directed and perform assigned duties on schedule. • Communicate customer requests or issues promptly to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers fully, clean the site, and position containers upright with lids secured to avoid blocking driveways. • Submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal and complete end‑of‑route documentation.

What You Bring
A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑B) is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old, have an acceptable driving record, and successfully pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. • Hold a valid CDL‑B and be at least 18 years old with an acceptable driving record. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical examination, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
