About the Role

The role involves performing preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding major components on vehicles and equipment. The technician must accurately diagnose issues, execute effective repairs or replacements, and be willing to stay long‑term in any service area, including travel as needed. • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and timely repairs of identified issues. • Conduct proficient inspection, diagnosis, and moderately complex repairs on assigned vehicles and equipment. • Use vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and assign repairs. • Estimate time and material costs, requisition parts, and advise supervisor of additional work or delays. • Inspect quality of supplier repairs or rebuilds and assess structural damage for appropriate remediation. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and conduct safety checks on vehicles. • Provide assistance, guidance, and direction to other maintenance personnel; may assume supervisory duties in absence of supervision. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.

What You Bring

• Travel as required and be able to commit to prolonged stays within the service area. • Minimum four years of relevant experience; age 18+, legal work eligibility, clean driver’s license. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen, physical, and meet physical job requirements. • Operate tools and equipment, diagnose defects, and use fleet maintenance software; knowledge of Total Tire Maintenance Program preferred. • Valid driver’s license with clean record. • Ability to communicate repair needs effectively.
