About the Role

Each day you will service trucks and equipment that support over 20 million customers across the United States. The role requires high‑skill diagnostics and repairs on diesel and, at select locations, CNG trucks using modern tools and procedures. Your work ensures that the fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready to serve local communities. Safety is the top priority; you will perform vehicle safety checks, follow OSHA standards, and maintain a clean work area. The position also involves responding to emergency breakdowns, completing paperwork, and assisting senior mechanics on projects. A culture of teamwork and continuous improvement underpins daily operations. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a variety of vehicles and equipment • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics with project work • Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards
