About the Role

The role is responsible for planning and procuring material requirements to achieve the lowest possible overall cost, drive year‑over‑year productivity savings, and meet inventory reduction commitments for assigned parts and vendors. It also involves analyzing and forecasting market data to secure the best price acquisition. Key duties include identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for goods and services, as well as preparing, executing, and reviewing requisitions and purchase orders to align with company standards and expectations. The incumbent provides commodity forecast data to suppliers, determines appropriate order lot sizes and packaging quantities, and works to optimize material flow and inventory objectives. Maintaining strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and resolving disputes are also essential. Staying current on industry trends, price fluctuations, market conditions, and new products enables informed decision‑making. The role continuously monitors costs and seeks expense‑reduction opportunities while preserving quality and service levels. All procurement activities must adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
