Job Highlights
About the Role
• Collaborate with Remediation team Project Managers and other AECOM business lines. • Serve as Engineer of Record, sealing and signing reports, drawing sets, technical specifications, and regulator application forms. • Act as Senior Project Engineer on projects of varying complexity, overseeing technical delivery, design, schedule, client liaison, reporting, and coordination. • Prepare designs, reports, specifications, and cost estimates for civil and environmental remediation projects, including excavation, landfill design, dewatering, water treatment, stormwater management, site restoration, permitting, and municipal site plans. • Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, technical methods, and add value to client services. • Mentor junior and mid‑level staff and certify staff for the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.

What You Bring
• Use CAD applications; proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D preferred. • Minimum: BA/BS in Civil Engineering and 4+ years related experience; valid U.S. driver’s license and pass motor vehicle records review. • Preferred: Master’s in Civil Engineering; 5+ years consulting experience; ability to lead technical efforts and project teams; experience as Senior Project Engineer on large‑scale landfill, excavation, dewatering, and coal‑ash closure projects; OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.

The position is hybrid, located at 1360 Peachtree St, Atlanta, with an annual salary range of $85,000 to $105,000. Sponsorship and relocation are not available.
