About the Role
In this senior position you will partner with multidisciplinary engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high‑quality deliverables while fostering strong client relationships throughout project delivery. • Lead design and analysis of embankment and concrete dams, spillways, outlet works, and related hydraulic structures. • Produce engineering reports, technical specifications, and design drawings to quality standards. • Review inspection reports and monitoring data, recommending mitigation for existing dam infrastructure. • Conduct field investigations and inspections, including travel as required. • Provide senior technical oversight, mentor junior engineers, and review deliverables. • Support business development through proposal preparation, cost estimation, and client engagement. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery. • Manage dam-related projects, overseeing planning, execution, financial tracking, and coordination.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering; Chartered Engineer status or progress toward it. • Demonstrated experience in dam design, refurbishment, and project delivery from concept to completion. • Proficiency in CFD modelling for spillways and hydraulic structures using Flow3D or similar, with knowledge of Rhino/Grasshopper. • Strong understanding of hydraulic phenomena such as cavitation, air entrainment, and transient flows. • Ability to produce high‑quality technical deliverables and apply innovative engineering solutions.
