About the Role
The primary purpose of the position is to perform skilled electrical work in the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal of nuclear power plant equipment. This role supports safe and reliable plant operations. • Participate in the Emergency Response Plan. • Adhere to established maintenance conduct and standards. • Execute assigned work packages and interpret power plant prints. • Inspect, repair, install, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, and electrical signal and communication systems, including control equipment and wiring. • Locate and repair failures in electrical circuits and equipment. • Install test apparatus on electrical equipment. • Document complex electrical wiring in schematic diagrams. • Assist other maintenance and modification crafts. • Provide training and oversight to other personnel.

What You Bring
Electrical Technicians are classified at three levels – I, II, and III – with increasing experience requirements. All levels must pass the EEI TECH pre‑employment test, meet required access and medical standards, and have completed an accredited electrical training program. Level I requires at least 2 years of hands‑on experience, Level II requires 3 years, and Level III requires 5 years. • Electrical Technician I: Pass EEI TECH test, maintain required access/medical clearance, complete accredited electrical training, and have at least 2 years of relevant hands‑on experience. • Electrical Technician II: Same requirements as I, with at least 3 years of relevant hands‑on experience. • Electrical Technician III: Same requirements as I, with at least 5 years of relevant hands‑on experience.
