About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager supports community operations, ensuring properties remain market‑ready and delivering high‑quality resident service. In this role, you will help lead and motivate on‑site staff, fostering a collaborative environment that drives property performance. • Assist the Property Manager with daily operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and collections. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to increase satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in accordance with company standards. • Track advertising performance and monitor prospective client traffic. • Supervise, interview, hire, and coach on‑site staff while ensuring compliance with C&W policies and procedures. • Resolve resident conflicts promptly and maintain a positive living environment. • Manage community budgets, expenses, and financial reporting. • Collaborate with leasing staff to achieve marketing and leasing goals.

What You Bring

The position operates from a professional office setting, with regular use of standard office equipment and occasional travel between properties. • Demonstrate effective communication, computer literacy, and bookkeeping abilities. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred. • Possess 3+ years of property management experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. • Travel up to 15% of the time and perform occasional physical tasks requiring up to 25 lb of effort.
