About the Role

The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans and high‑quality photographs of residential properties using Matterport Pro3 cameras and digital equipment. Photographers work within a designated territory, follow scheduled appointments, and collaborate with clients, sales, logistics and management while being remotely managed. • Support marketing on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints • Create photographic portfolios that showcase homes and apartments using optimal techniques • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to prioritize tasks • Navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure commercial real‑estate data coverage when not on residential assignments • Adhere to CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicles and equipment • Represent CoStar professionally at all times • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed • Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 lb • Perform repetitive hand and arm movements for tablet/laptop and camera operation

What You Bring

The position requires physical stamina, including up to 8 hours of sitting, standing and walking, lifting equipment up to 5 lb, repetitive hand movements, and occasional bending, squatting and twisting. Photographers must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and on rotating weekend schedules. Candidates need at least two years of professional experience, a background in real‑estate or general photography, and a FAA Part 107 drone license obtained within 30 days of hire. Strong time‑management, communication, data‑entry accuracy, and proficiency with Windows, macOS and Microsoft Office are essential, as is a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Repeated sitting in a car, standing and walking up to 8 hours per day • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying required • Work and drive outdoors in all seasons • Minimum 2 years of professional experience • Required real‑estate photography background • Professional photographer experience or recent photography degree • FAA Part 107 drone license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer • Strong time‑management and detail‑orientation • Accurate data capture and entry capabilities • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications • Enjoy independent work in a fast‑paced environment • Preferred field experience • Current valid driver’s license • Satisfactory driving record check prior to start
