As an STMS‑Advanced, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective delivery of temporary traffic management across all road environments, including high‑speed, high‑risk Category C roads such as motorways and multilane networks. • Lead on‑site traffic management, confirming TMPs, briefing crews, implementing contingency plans and completing compliance documentation with a focus on safety and efficiency • Coordinate and direct multiple crews while liaising with clients, contractors and road controlling authorities • Complete, manage and maintain all required documentation to ensure full compliance • Proactively manage site safety and lead comprehensive risk management across all road categories • Supervise and mentor traffic crews, including TMOs, TTM workers and other STMS team members • Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and promote safe use of tools, vehicles and equipment

All successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre‑employment drug test, medical examination, and a Ministry of Justice check. • Hold a clean STMS Level 2/3 Practising Qualification • Full Class 1 and 2 driver’s licence • First Aid certification (highly desirable) • Completed TTM Unit Standards 31958‑31963 • 3+ years experience in temporary traffic management and managing Category A, B and C sites • In‑depth understanding of CoPTTM/NZGTTM and local operating procedures • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong leadership ability to guide, coach and empower others • Ability to articulate and demonstrate thorough understanding of Zero Harm practices • Competent using digital tools and systems for real‑time reporting, job tracking and crew communication
