What You Bring

The company is seeking an Area Controller for its Central Kentucky/Ohio operations, based in Louisville, Kentucky. The role reports to the Northern Division Controller with a dotted‑line relationship to the Central Kentucky/Ohio Vice President and emphasizes internal controls, business ethics, and proactive financial leadership, including travel as needed. • 6+ years of financial and accounting experience. • 4+ years of experience in mining or highway construction (preferred). • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; MBA and/or CPA a plus. • Proven ability to prepare business plans, budgets, and forecasts. • Experienced in financial and operational variance analysis. • Skilled in maintaining effective internal controls. • Proven record managing accounting practices and procedures. • Advanced Excel skills. • Strong written and verbal communication across all organization levels.
