About the Role
The Operator – Heavy Equipment is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment at recycling centers, landfills, or transfer stations to transfer, spread, cover, load, and compact waste or soil efficiently. Key duties include performing pre- and post‑operation inspections, operating forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, front‑end loaders and other equipment in accordance with safety standards, monitoring waste for unacceptable material, maintaining equipment readiness, performing minor service, documenting conditions and repairs, and keeping the shop clean at shift end.

What You Bring
Applicants must demonstrate strong customer service, time management, follow‑through, adherence to company policies and safety standards, and pride in their work. Minimum qualifications are two years of heavy‑equipment operation experience and one year of work at OSHA‑regulated sites.
