Job Highlights
About the Role
• Establish client requirements and conduct feasibility studies. • Attend onsite and consultant meetings, liaising with clients, architects, and associate consultants. • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate project costs. • Prepare main building, piling, and nominated sub‑contracts for tender and formalization. • Measure and take off quantities for architectural, infrastructure, and structural elements. • Administer pre‑ and post‑contract consultancy work. • Assess variation orders and prepare interim valuations, cost plans, and budget studies. • Compile contract documents for execution. • Ensure compliance with statutory building regulations. • Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance work. • Allocate work to subcontractors. • Analyze outcomes and produce detailed progress reports. • Maintain awareness of current building contract types. • Value completed work and arrange payments. • Provide advice on contractual claims. • Solve problems and apply experience to typical projects. • Mentor and guide junior staff. • Perform self‑checks of work products before submission.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Building/Quantity Surveying or equivalent. • Possess 8 years of pre‑ and post‑contract experience in consultancy or main‑contractor environments.
