About the Role
Key duties include reading blueprints and drawings, taking measurements, and determining the appropriate welding equipment and method. The welder sets up, aligns, and clamps components, operates angle grinders for preparation, and welds in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions using arc, MIG, or TIG techniques. Equipment maintenance is performed to ensure safety. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding layouts. • Select appropriate MIG/TIG equipment and welding methods based on material specifications. • Set up, align, and clamp components; operate angle grinders to prepare parts. • Perform welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions using arc, MIG, or TIG processes. • Inspect raw materials and finished welds for quality, safety, and compliance. • Maintain welding equipment to ensure safe operation.

What You Bring
The welder will join stainless steel and aluminum components using MIG/TIG processes, operating precision equipment to assemble mechanical structures. Quality control is critical, requiring inspection of raw materials and finished products for safety and company standards. The role demands a steady hand, great attention to detail, and knowledge of metal properties. The position requires effective written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, sound decision‑making, analytical problem‑solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities. The employee works well both in team settings and fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 lb and sitting or standing for up to 95 percent of work hours. Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility may expose the worker to seasonal temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fumes. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills. • Meet physical demands: lift up to 50 lb, stand/sit for long periods, tolerate varying temperatures and fumes. • Possess knowledge of stainless steel and aluminum properties.
