About the Role

The Opportunity – As a Senior Document Controller on our engineering projects team, you will sit at the centre of information flow across a diverse portfolio, from fast‑turnaround assignments to complex mega‑capital projects. This contract role leverages your document control expertise and systems knowledge to keep multidisciplinary teams aligned, clients informed, and projects moving forward in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment. The position is based in our Edmonton, AB office. In this role you will lead senior document control activities across multiple concurrent engineering, EPC/EPCM and construction projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring information is accurate, current, and accessible. You will configure document control environments, process transmittals, and support audits to maintain high‑quality project documentation. • Lead senior document control activities across multiple engineering, EPC/EPCM and construction projects, ensuring information is accurate, current and accessible. • Set up, configure and maintain project document control environments in InEight, Aconex, SharePoint and BIM 360, tailoring workspaces to client and project requirements. • Maintain structured document numbering, metadata, workflows and revision control for quick and reliable information retrieval. • Process transmittals, submissions, reviews and approvals with high accuracy and speed to support tight timelines. • Respond to internal and external document‑related queries, providing clear guidance on standards, processes and best practices. • Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documentation to ensure alignment with templates, naming conventions and project standards. • Safeguard version integrity by tracking revisions, managing superseded documents and supporting document‑related audits. • Pivot quickly between priorities and projects, pausing work on one assignment and transitioning seamlessly to another as needs evolve. • Mentor and guide junior document controllers or project team members, elevating document control practices across the portfolio. • Work fully remotely with minimal supervision while maintaining proactive communication with project managers and engineering teams. • Juggle multiple priorities and switch tasks rapidly in response to shifting project demands and deadlines. • Provide mentorship or coaching to other document control professionals (asset).
