About the Role
The sales professional will prospect, develop relationships with Fortune 500 customers, and acquire new business for power, gas, and alternative energy products, driving revenue and meeting gross‑margin quotas. • Cultivate and manage relationships with Fortune 500 companies. • Develop energy plans, hedging strategies, and presentations to close sales. • Drive sales of power, gas, demand response, solar, and energy efficiency solutions to achieve margin targets. • Identify and engage high‑level decision makers and communicate effectively with groups and stakeholders. • Travel as needed to meet clients and attend training or all‑hands meetings. • Champion Constellation’s core values, promote diversity and inclusion, and mentor team members.

What You Bring
• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or 6‑9 years relevant experience), strong written and oral communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, and sales experience (2‑5 years for Associate level, 5‑9 years for Manager level). • Preferred qualifications: B2B energy sales experience in Michigan, proven lead generation, track record of meeting/exceeding sales KPIs, and passion for sales.

Salary ranges are $71,100‑$79,000 for Associate Business Development Managers and $93,600‑$104,000 for Business Development Managers, both with commission opportunities. The role is a territory‑based field sales position supporting clients throughout Michigan, with the flexibility to work from home for candidates residing in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, or Detroit.
