About the Role
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Commissioning Manager (High Voltage) leads High Voltage Commissioning Teams and works closely with integration and completions teams. The manager drives commissioning activities from tender through design, construction, testing, operational readiness and handover in line with the Project Test and Commissioning Plan and client requirements. • Ensure compliance with stakeholder technical requirements, contract documents, budget and schedule. • Obtain and review design parameters; monitor quality and quantity of incoming equipment and materials. • Check drawings and specifications against site conditions and arrange necessary corrections. • Plan, implement and manage all testing, commissioning and operator training for high‑voltage assets. • Forecast costs and revenue; take corrective actions to maximise profit. • Identify risks to testing and commissioning and implement mitigation measures. • Review and coordinate testing plans, procedures and integrated test plans from subcontractors and suppliers. • Plan and verify post‑occupation/preservation activities in accordance with contract requirements. • Complete commissioning tasks and hand over assets to operations and maintenance teams. • Manage people and subcontractor performance effectively.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent. • Bring 15 years of experience in commissioning or construction completion. • Demonstrate experience managing commissioning from project award through to completion, including test plan preparation and execution. • Possess prior high‑voltage transmission project experience and renewable generation commissioning (R2 hold point testing).
