Senior Project Manager (Roadways)

About the Role

Key duties include compiling project scope and fees, assigning tasks, setting up projects in Deltek Vision, managing QA/QC processes, monitoring finances and accounts receivable, reporting billing summaries, mentoring junior staff, and marketing NV5 to FDOT and local municipalities for new contracts. • Compile project scope and fees. • Assign tasks and set expectations for team members. • Set up projects in Deltek Vision and manage contract submissions. • Ensure project tasks meet deadlines and stay within budget. • Oversee QA/QC processes. • Monitor monthly project finances and accounts receivable. • Report billing summaries to accounting each month. • Mentor junior transportation staff. • Market NV5 services to FDOT and local municipalities to secure new contracts.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Florida PE license, and have 10+ years of transportation roadway design experience. Proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads and/or GeoPak corridor modeling software is required; GDOT project experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is needed. • Communicate regularly with team and senior management. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Florida PE license. • Possess 10+ years of roadway design experience. • Proficient in MicroStation, InRoads, or GeoPak corridor modeling. • GDOT project experience is a plus. • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
