About the Role

The intern will assist the business unit marketing team with activities related to business development proposals, presentations, research, and the development of marketing materials. Key duties include supporting the production of proposals and presentations, conducting research and updating marketing databases with sales, client, and project data, and handling graphic production, digital asset management, and social media marketing while maintaining brand standards. The role also requires providing periodic status reports to the supervisor and maintaining professionalism with employees, clients, and vendors, plus any other assigned tasks. • Support creation of business development proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral. • Research and maintain marketing databases with sales, client, and project information. • Produce graphics, manage digital assets, and execute social media marketing while upholding brand standards. • Provide regular status updates to the supervisor and ensure professional interactions with stakeholders. • Complete assigned tasks in a deadline‑driven, team‑oriented environment. • Maintain flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week or more, with reliable transportation for occasional travel. • Follow safety policies and work both on‑site construction locations and in office/remote settings.

The candidate should be proactive, curious, able to learn quickly, follow directions, meet deadlines in a team environment, be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, flexible to work up to 40 hours per week or more, and have reliable transportation for occasional travel. Physical demands involve frequent sitting, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and handling objects, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The employee must be mobile, travel as needed, and work on‑site at construction sites, office locations, or off‑site venues, using vision and hearing abilities required for computer work. The work environment includes construction sites with exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, weather conditions, and potential electrical hazards, with moderate to loud noise levels.
