About the Role

• Lead technical advisory services for transport projects nationwide, providing governance and expertise. • Serve as Project Director or Lead Verifier on key initiatives, acting as the primary escalation point for clients. • Develop and maintain relationships with major clients such as Waka Kotahi, Auckland Transport and Auckland Council, and seek new business opportunities. • Contribute to proposal development, delivery methodologies and project requirement identification to ensure successful outcomes. • Mentor and coach Transport Advisory staff, fostering professional growth and technical capability.

What You Bring

AECOM is seeking an experienced Director to join its Transport Advisory team in New Zealand. The role provides technical leadership, builds client relationships and influences large‑scale transport projects across the country. • Possess 10+ years of experience delivering high‑profile, complex transport advisory projects. • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification; postgraduate studies are highly desirable. • Demonstrated expertise in project governance, client relationship management and business case development. • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach to building trusted relationships at all levels.
