About the Role

The Senior Quality Engineer will join the Energy Hubs and Substations team to ensure project quality across electrical and civil scopes. Responsibilities include developing inspection and test plans, managing non‑conformance reports, conducting audits, and supporting the project team to embed quality standards throughout fabrication and supplier processes. • Review client specifications and develop ITPs & ITCs • Ensure high‑quality execution of ITPs/ITCs across projects • Report project quality issues to team and client • Open, monitor, and close work lots systematically • Prepare detailed NCRs for rapid resolution • Liaise with client quality department and attend weekly QA meetings • Assess products and components at various production stages • Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan • Conduct off‑site manufacturing audits and inspections • Maintain the project’s quality audit schedule • Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions • Support project teams in applying daily quality standards • Oversee fabrication processes of company and subcontractors • Perform quality audits at project, fabrication, and supplier sites

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a tertiary qualification in electrical or civil engineering and have at least seven years of experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure, renewable energy, or substation projects. Expertise in ISO 9000/ISO 9001 quality management systems, statistical data analysis, training delivery, and quality inspection software is required. The role is based in Sydney CBD with occasional site visits, transitioning to a roster of 14 days onsite in camp accommodation and 7 days off‑site once the project is operational.
