About the Role

• Execute framing carpentry and bag‑on‑lead tasks while lining out crew and subcontractors. • Perform layout and quality control for all scopes of work, including subcontracted work. • Create site documentation and as‑built drawings. • Serve as primary contact for subcontractor inquiries. • Collaborate with subcontractors to develop solutions and present them to the superintendent. • Estimate material quantities and labor time for proposed work. • Lead small projects, coordinating crew to maximize productivity. • Co‑create daily schedules with the superintendent and ensure execution. • Represent the company when the superintendent is unavailable. • Open and close the job site as required. • Communicate diplomatically with clients, architects, partners, and inspectors. • Maintain respectful communication with field crew, subs, clients, and team. • Minimize material waste and control costs. • Manage material deliveries, handling, storage, and placement. • Champion safety, enforce OSHA requirements, and maintain a secure site. • Keep accurate daily job logs.

What You Bring

• 6+ years high‑end residential carpentry experience, proficient in framing. • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications, including control lines. • Advanced construction math skills. • Strong foresight to understand the impact of current work on future phases. • Proficiency with a full set of hand and specialty tools. • Excellent communication and team‑building abilities. • Capability to take and give direction effectively. • Knowledge of constructability with traditional and new materials. • Reliable transportation and clean driving record. • U.S. work authorization. • Conversational Spanish highly preferred. • Potential to work on Dowbuilt projects in other regions.
