About the Role

You will collaborate with a dynamic team of geospatial professionals, leveraging your expertise in FME to deliver quality solutions across diverse sectors such as land management, property and planning, energy and transportation. Your work will help clients visualise and understand complex data, enabling informed decision‑making and fostering a more sustainable future. In this role, you will harness and lead on the full potential of FME and geospatial data to drive better decision‑making processes, streamline workflows, and add substantial value for our internal and external clients. By applying advanced data analytics, you will uncover insights that were previously hidden, ensuring projects are efficient, innovative and enable clients to optimise operations, reduce costs and make strategic decisions with confidence. • Manage a technical team with a customer-focused approach to quality and service. • Serve as the technical lead for the FME Flow platform, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other systems. • Lead on the GIS element of major projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. • Understand client needs and provide technical advice and solutions for consideration. • Handle programme and resource management effectively. • Ensure data security and governance, adhering to ISO27001 and GDPR standards. • Prepare proposals and bids to support business development. • Provide technical advice to all WSP staff as required. • Document team processes and procedures comprehensively and make them accessible to all members. • Provide guidance on best practice and solutions to achieve deliverables. • Successfully led a small team to deliver technical tasks. • Managed and deployed ESRI Enterprise systems, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ESRI Field apps.

What You Bring

• Innovate and self‑motivate in delivering high‑quality solutions. • Deep knowledge of Enterprise FME and FME Flow for data integration and automation. • Proficient in utilising Microsoft Azure services for cloud‑based solutions (or similar). • Skilled in scripting (preferably Python), SQL, data management and data processing workflows.
