About the Role
• Perform engineering calculations and develop construction cost estimates. • Collaborate with senior staff to design water‑related structures such as locks, dams, and control gates. • Conduct QA/QC reviews of design methodology, calculations, and outcomes. • Interpret multidisciplinary drawings and respond to requests for information. • Carry out field inspections and surveys supporting design and construction. • Research and apply relevant code provisions to designs. • Evaluate design alternatives and document findings for project leadership. • Apply standard engineering techniques and professional judgment to project tasks. • Assist in preparing proposals, client communications, and design documents. • Produce and revise construction drawings as needed.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required). • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification (preferred). • Internship or coursework experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred). • Proficient in English reading, writing, and communication.
